Screwfix

I simplified the total digital experience on desktop and mobile to make products easier to find and buy. Activities included:

  • Defining the UX vision
  • User research and testing
  • Information design and interaction design

The site is still live 5 years later, with sales increasing year on year.

Gatwick Airport

After conducting on-site research with travellers at Gatwick to understand how the digital experience fitted within their physical journey, I carried out the following activities as UX Lead:

  • Content strategy
  • Information architecture and design
  • Interaction design

The site won EpiServer’s ‘Best B2C Site’ on its launch.

Nationwide Building Society

I was a lead information architect and UX designer on the original re-release of Nationwide’s banking app.

  • UX writing

The app is popular  with customers and and continues to provide a strong base for continual iterations and improvements.

Barclays Bank

Service design for the Wealth and Corporate on-boarding process:

My work helped reduce the time taken to onboard a corporate customer from months to weeks.

The Cochrane Library

Advanced search tool for medical researchers:

  • Ethnographic research: visiting users in their environment
  • Information architecture
  • Interaction design

I designed this tool during my time with the publisher Wiley, whose Online Library I was also UX Lead for.
